Speed increaser

Power loop
|

|
Loading any transmission component with a differential gearbox allow to separate the main drive which provides the speed and the secondary drive which loads the transmission component.
This principle also allows the re-injection of the loading/driven power into the so called « power-loop ».
Thus the main motor power has only to compensate the thermal losses.
Compared with a motor + brake solution, the installed power is very much lower.
